One of the things we use to block spam is
mail-filtering software called SpamAssassin. The
software checks incoming messages for various
characteristics of spam and assigns points for each
finding; if a message scores a total of 15 or more
points it is rejected by our mail system. The e-mail
to Jacqueline was rejected because its score was
15.599, as is evident in the following part of the
rejection notice you received:
554 5.7.1 SpamAssassin score=15.599, 12.53.208.132, J_CHICKENPOX_46,SPF_HELO_PASS,URIBL_OB_SURBL. Please forward this notice to postmaster@vu.edu.au if your message was not spam.
Fractional points resulted from a test for mixed characters and/or lettering (l|iKe th.is kiNd 0f g@rb+age, for example), however the e-mail was largely rejected because the message text features a network domain that one of our external mail filters (the OB SURBL, refer http://www.surbl.org/lists.html) has associated with spam - worth 15 points alone. Having followed the link to the Romantic Tip of the Week newsletter archive provided in your e-mail to check the contents of the blocked newsletter (located at http://missing.mail-list.com/romantic/msg00057.html) against various URI black lists, I found that the problem network address is "relationshipcollection.com". You will need to either remove the network address reference from the e-mail or have it removed from the URI block list (refer the link above) in order to re-send the message successfully, as we do not wish to modify our systems to accept messages containing material known to be associated with spam. Should you have any other queries, please don't hesitate to contact our postmaster address for further assistance.
Regards,
Andrew
