Approving Messages For Announcement Lists

You may choose to review your message prior to sending it to your announcement list.

If you choose this option, your message will come back to you before it is sent out to your subscribers. You will not be able to change anything in the message at that point. This is a review feature only, not an editing feature.

To read and review your message, double click on the mailbox icon inside the body of the email that returns to you. Make sure that your email reader is fairly recent and can handle MIME messages.

If you are satisfied with your message, then all you need to do is hit Reply to the email. The Subject line will say COMMAND APPROVE random_number. Our computers will read the Subject line of the Reply email, and the original message you sent will be released for distribution to your list of subscribers.

If you do not want to send the message, you may either ignore the confirmation email, or send back a Discard command. Change the word APPROVE in the Subject Line to DISCARD and then reply. That message will be thrown away and nobody will see it.

Messages held in limbo for more than 30 days are deleted.
